Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress who is best famous for her character Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 to present. The actress was previously recognized as the character of an 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing emotional and traumatic experiences against set against the backdrop of the U.S. invaders of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later that year she was voted one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to Be Watching. In 2009, she played the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film. She has also acted in films such as Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several roles in television, including co-lead roles in Lucky 7.
